حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَتَتَّبِعُنَّ سُنَنَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ شِبْرًا بِشِبْرٍ وَذِرَاعًا بِذِرَاعٍ حَتَّى لَوْ دَخَلَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ جُحْرَ ضَبٍّ لَتَبِعْتُمُوهُمْ فِيهِ وَقَالَ مَرَّةً لَتَبِعْتُمُوهُ فِيهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abd al-Razzaq told us, Ma'mar informed us, from Zayd ibn Aslam, from a man, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You will surely follow the ways of the Children of Israel span by span and cubit by cubit, so much so that if one of them entered a lizard's hole, you would follow them into it." And once he said: "you would follow him into it."
