Ibn Fudayl told us, Salim - meaning Ibn Abi Hafsah - and al-A'mash, and Abdullah ibn Suhban, and Kathir al-Nawwa', and Ibn Abi Layla told us, from Atiyyah al-'Awfi, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The people of the high ranks will be seen by those below them just as you see a rising star in one of the horizons of the sky. Indeed, Abu Bakr and Umar are among them, and how blessed they are."
