حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَخِي ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ حَدِيثًا عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَقِيَهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ فَقَالَ يَا أَبَا سَعِيدٍ مَا هَذَا الَّذِي تُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ الذَّهَبُ بِالذَّهَبِ مِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ وَالْوَرِقُ بِالْوَرِقِ مِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ya'qub told us, the nephew of Ibn Shihab told us, from his uncle Muhammad ibn Muslim, who said: Salim ibn Abdullah told me that Abu Sa'id al-Khudri told him a similar hadith from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. Then Abdullah ibn Umar met him and said: "O Abu Sa'id, what is this that you relate from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him?" Abu Sa'id said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: 'Gold for gold, like for like, and silver for silver, like for like.'"
