حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ فِرَاسٍ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنْ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ فَيْحِ الْمِسْكِ قَالَ صَامَ هَذَا مِنْ أَجْلِي وَتَرَكَ شَهْوَتَهُ عَنْ الطَّعَامِ وَالشَّرَابِ مِنْ أَجْلِي فَالصَّوْمُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Mu'awiyah told us, Shayban told us, from Firas, from 'Atiyyah, from Abu Sa'id, from the Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), that he said, "The smell from the mouth of the fasting person is more pleasant to Allah than the fragrance of musk. He said: He fasted for My sake and gave up his desire for food and drink for My sake; fasting is for Me, and I reward for it."
