Yazid told us, Abu al-Ashhab informed us, from Abu Nadrah, from Abu Sa'id, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) looked at a man turning his mount aside among the flanks of the people, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Whoever has a surplus of mount, let him give it to one who has no mount, and whoever has a surplus of provisions, let him give it to one who has no provisions" - until we thought that none of us had any right to surplus beyond his need.
