حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ وَرَوْحٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ افْتَخَرَتْ الْجَنَّةُ وَالنَّارُ فَقَالَتْ النَّارُ يَا رَبِّ يَدْخُلُنِي الْجَبَابِرَةُ وَالْمُتَكَبِّرُونَ وَالْمُلُوكُ وَالْأَشْرَافُ وَقَالَتْ الْجَنَّةُ أَيْ رَبِّ يَدْخُلُنِي الضُّعَفَاءُ وَالْفُقَرَاءُ وَالْمَسَاكِينُ فَيَقُولُ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى لِلنَّارِ أَنْتِ عَذَابِي أُصِيبُ بِكِ مَنْ أَشَاءُ وَقَالَ لِلْجَنَّةِ أَنْتِ رَحْمَتِي وَسِعَتْ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ وَلِكُلِّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْكُمَا مِلْؤُهَا فَيُلْقَى فِي النَّارِ أَهْلُهَا فَتَقُولُ هَلْ مِنْ مَزِيدٍ قَالَ وَيُلْقَى فِيهَا وَتَقُولُ هَلْ مِنْ مَزِيدٍ وَيُلْقَى فِيهَا وَتَقُولُ هَلْ مِنْ مَزِيدٍ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَهَا تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى فَيَضَعَ قَدَمَهُ عَلَيْهَا فَتُزْوَى فَتَقُولُ قَدْنِي قَدْنِي وَأَمَّا الْجَنَّةُ فَيَبْقَى فِيهَا أَهْلُهَا مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَبْقَى فَيُنْشِئُ اللَّهُ لَهَا خَلْقًا مَا يَشَاءُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hasan and Rawh told us, they said: Hammad ibn Salamah told us, from Ata' ibn al-Sa'ib, from Ubaydullah ibn Abdullah ibn Utbah, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Paradise and the Fire disputed with one another. The Fire said: 'My Lord, the tyrants, the arrogant, the kings, and the nobles enter me.' Paradise said: 'My Lord, the weak, the poor, and the destitute enter me.' So Allah, Blessed and Exalted, said to the Fire: 'You are My punishment; I strike with you whomever I will,' and He said to Paradise: 'You are My mercy; you encompass everything, and each of you will be filled.' So the people of the Fire will be cast into it, and it will say: 'Are there more?' — and more will be cast into it, and it will say: 'Are there more?' — and more will be cast into it, and it will say: 'Are there more?' — until Allah, Blessed and Exalted, comes to it and places His foot upon it, and it will contract and say: 'Enough, enough!' As for Paradise, its people will remain in it as long as Allah wills them to remain, and then Allah will create for it whatever creation He wills."
