حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا فِرَاسُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْهَمْدَانِيُّ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ الْعَوْفِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَقَدْ دَخَلَ رَجُلٌ الْجَنَّةَ مَا عَمِلَ خَيْرًا قَطُّ قَالَ لِأَهْلِهِ حِينَ حَضَرَهُ الْمَوْتُ إِذَا أَنَا مِتُّ فَأَحْرِقُونِي ثُمَّ اسْحَقُونِي ثُمَّ اذْرُوا نِصْفِي فِي الْبَحْرِ وَنِصْفِي فِي الْبَرِّ فَأَمَرَ اللَّهُ الْبَرَّ وَالْبَحْرَ فَجَمَعَاهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ مَا حَمَلَكَ عَلَى مَا صَنَعْتَ قَالَ مَخَافَتُكَ قَالَ فَغَفَرَ لَهُ بِذَلِكَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Mu'awiyah ibn Hisham told us, Shayban Abu Mu'awiyah told us, Firas ibn Yahya al-Hamdani told us, from Atiyyah al-Awfi, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A man once entered Paradise who had never done any good deed. He said to his family when death approached him: 'When I die, burn me, then grind me to powder, then scatter half of me in the sea and half of me on land.' So Allah commanded the land and the sea, and they gathered him together. Then He said: 'What led you to do what you did?' He said: 'Fear of You.' So He forgave him for that."
