حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ رِوَايَةً وَقَالَ مَرَّةً يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْغُسْلُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَالَ هُوَ وَاجِبٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُحْتَلِمٍ.

Sufyan told us, from Safwan ibn Sulaym, from Ata' ibn Yasar, from Abu Sa'id, as a narration - and he said once that he traced it up to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him - who said: "The ritual bath on Friday" - he said: "it is obligatory upon every person who has reached puberty."
