حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ سُئِلَ عَنْ الْإِزَارِ فَقَالَ عَلَى الْخَبِيرِ سَقَطْتَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِزْرَةُ الْمُؤْمِنِ إِلَى أَنْصَافِ السَّاقَيْنِ لَا جُنَاحَ أَوْ لَا حَرَجَ عَلَيْهِ فِيمَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ مَا كَانَ أَسْفَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ فَهُوَ فِي النَّارِ لَا يَنْظُرُ اللَّهُ إِلَى مَنْ جَرَّ إِزَارَهُ بَطَرًا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Abi Adiyy told us, from Shu'bah, from al-Ala' ibn Abd al-Rahman, from his father: that he heard Abu Sa'id being asked about the lower garment. He said: "You have come to one who knows well. I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: 'The believer's lower garment should reach midway down the shins; there is no blame - or no harm - upon him in what is between that and the ankles; whatever is lower than that is in the Fire. Allah does not look at one who drags his lower garment out of pride.'"
