حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بِشْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْمُتَوَكِّلِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّ نَاسًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانُوا فِي سَفَرٍ فَمَرُّوا بِحَيٍّ مِنْ أَحْيَاءِ الْعَرَبِ فَاسْتَضَافُوهُمْ فَأَبَوْا أَنْ يُضَيِّفُوهُمْ فَعَرَضَ لِإِنْسَانٍ مِنْهُمْ فِي عَقْلِهِ أَوْ لُدِغَ قَالَ فَقَالُوا لِأَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَلْ فِيكُمْ مِنْ رَاقٍ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْهُمْ نَعَمْ فَأَتَى صَاحِبَهُمْ فَرَقَاهُ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ فَبَرَأَ فَأُعْطِيَ قَطِيعًا مِنْ غَنَمٍ فَأَبَى أَنْ يَقْبَلَ حَتَّى أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَالَّذِي بَعَثَكَ بِالْحَقِّ مَا رَقَيْتُهُ إِلَّا بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ قَالَ فَضَحِكَ وَقَالَ مَا يُدْرِيكَ أَنَّهَا رُقْيَةٌ قَالَ ثُمَّ قَالَ خُذُوا وَاضْرِبُوا لِي بِسَهْمٍ مَعَكُمْ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hushaym told us, Abu Bishr told us, from Abu al-Mutawakkil, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri: that some of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, were on a journey and passed by a settlement of Arabs and asked them for hospitality, but they refused to host them. Then one of the settlement's people was afflicted in his mind, or was stung. They said to the Companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: "Is there among you anyone who can perform ruqyah?" One of them said, "Yes." So he went to their companion and recited over him Surat al-Fatihah, and he was cured. He was given a flock of sheep, but he refused to accept it until he came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and mentioned that to him. He said: "O Messenger of Allah, by the One who sent you with the truth, I recited nothing over him except al-Fatihah." He said: The Prophet laughed and said: "How did you know that it is a ruqyah?" Then he said: "Take it, and allot me a share with you."
