حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْبَخْتَرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيِّ، قَالَ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ إِذَا حُدِّثْتُمْ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَدِيثًا فَظُنُّوا بِهِ الَّذِي هُوَ أَهْيَا وَالَّذِي هُوَ أَهْدَى وَالَّذِي هُوَ أَتْقَى.
انگریزی ترجمہ
It was narrated that Abu ‘Abdur-Rahman as-Sulami said: Hadrat 'Ali (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: If I narrate to you a hadeeth from the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), then think of him in the best manner, the most guided manner, the most pious manner.
