حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ يَعْنِي الطَّيَالِسِيَّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ الْخَزَّازُ عَنْ سَيَّارٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ قَالَ كُنَّا عِنْدَ عَائِشَةَ فَدَخَلَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَقَالَتْ أَنْتَ الَّذِي تُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً عُذِّبَتْ فِي هِرَّةٍ لَهَا رَبَطَتْهَا فَلَمْ تُطْعِمْهَا وَلَمْ تَسْقِهَا فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْهُ يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ كَذَا قَالَ أَبِي فَقَالَتْ هَلْ تَدْرِي مَا كَانَتْ الْمَرْأَةُ إِنَّ الْمَرْأَةَ مَعَ مَا فَعَلَتْ كَانَتْ كَافِرَةً وَإِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ أَكْرَمُ عَلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْ أَنْ يُعَذِّبَهُ فِي هِرَّةٍ فَإِذَا حَدَّثْتَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ تُحَدِّثُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Ibrahim, peace be upon him, did not tell a lie except three. Two of them were for the sake of Allah the Almighty: his saying: I am sick (37:89), and his saying: Rather, this — their largest — did it (21:63). And the other was regarding Sarah: He came to a tyrant. He said to Sarah: If this tyrant knows that you are my wife, he will overpower me and take you. If he asks you, tell him that you are my sister — for you are my sister in Islam, and I know of no Muslim on earth besides me and you.'
