حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَنْ يُنَجِّيَ أَحَدًا مِنْكُمْ عَمَلُهُ قَالَ قُلْنَا وَلَا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ وَلَا أَنَا إِلَّا أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِي اللَّهُ مِنْهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ وَلَكِنْ قَارِبُوا وَسَدِّدُوا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yazid told us: Muhammad informed us, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "None of you will be saved by his deeds alone." They said: "Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Not even me, unless Allah envelops me in mercy from Himself. But be moderate and aim for what is right."
