941/1233(صحيح لغيره)عن جابر بن عبد الله، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال:" أقلوا الخروج بعد هدوء ؛ فإن لله ذواب يبثهن فمن سمع نباح الكلب، أو نهاق حمار[من الليل/1234]، فليستعذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم ؛ فإنهم يرون ما لا ترون".[وأجيفوا الأبواب، واذكروا اسم الله عليها ؛ فإن الشيطان لا يفتح باباً أجيف وذكر اسم الله عليه، وغطوا الجرار، وأوكئوا القرب، وأكفئوا الآنية/ 1234].
انگریزی ترجمہ
Jabir ibn Abdullah reported from the Prophet (peace be upon him) who said: 'Go out less after nightfall, for Allah has creatures that He disperses. Whoever hears dogs barking or donkeys braying [at night] should seek refuge in Allah from Shaytan the accursed, for they see what you do not see.' [And close the doors, mentioning Allah's name upon them, for Shaytan does not open a door that has been closed with Allah's name mentioned upon it. Cover the jars, tie the water-skins, and turn over the vessels.]
