حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، وَيَزِيدُ بْنُ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَوْهَبٍ، - الْمَعْنَى - أَنَّ اللَّيْثَ، حَدَّثَهُمْ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ اشْتَكَى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَصَلَّيْنَا وَرَاءَهُ وَهُوَ قَاعِدٌ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ يُكَبِّرُ لِيُسْمِعَ النَّاسَ تَكْبِيرَهُ ثُمَّ سَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ .
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Jabir (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates: 'When the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) became ill, we prayed behind him while he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was sitting, and Hadrat Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be well pleased with him) was relaying his (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) takbir so the people could hear it.' Then the narrator related the rest of the hadith.
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت جابر (رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ) فرماتے ہیں: نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم علیل ہوئے تو ہم نے آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے پیچھے نماز پڑھی جبکہ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم بیٹھے ہوئے تھے اور حضرت ابوبکر صدیق (رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ) آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی تکبیر لوگوں کو سنوا رہے تھے — پھر باقی حدیث بیان کی۔
