حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمِنْهَالِ، عَنْ أَبِي بَرْزَةَ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُصَلِّي الظُّهْرَ إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ وَيُصَلِّي الْعَصْرَ وَإِنَّ أَحَدَنَا لَيَذْهَبُ إِلَى أَقْصَى الْمَدِينَةِ وَيَرْجِعُ وَالشَّمْسُ حَيَّةٌ وَنَسِيتُ الْمَغْرِبَ وَكَانَ لاَ يُبَالِي تَأْخِيرَ الْعِشَاءِ إِلَى ثُلُثِ اللَّيْلِ . قَالَ ثُمَّ قَالَ إِلَى شَطْرِ اللَّيْلِ . قَالَ وَكَانَ يَكْرَهُ النَّوْمَ قَبْلَهَا وَالْحَدِيثَ بَعْدَهَا وَكَانَ يُصَلِّي الصُّبْحَ وَمَا يَعْرِفُ أَحَدُنَا جَلِيسَهُ الَّذِي كَانَ يَعْرِفُهُ وَكَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِيهَا مِنَ السِّتِّينَ إِلَى الْمِائَةِ .
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Abu Barzah al-Aslami (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates: 'The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would pray the Zuhr when the sun passed the meridian. He would pray the Asr at a time when, after the prayer, a person could go to the outskirts of Madinah while the sun was still strong.' The narrator says: 'I have forgotten what he said about the Maghrib.' He continues: 'He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) preferred to delay the Isha — he liked that. And he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would pray the Fajr at such a time that, after finishing, a person could recognize his companion sitting beside him. And he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would recite between sixty and a hundred verses in it.'
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت ابوبرزہ اسلمی رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ظہر سورج ڈھلنے پر ادا فرماتے، اور عصر اس وقت پڑھتے کہ ایک شخص (نماز کے بعد) مدینے کے کناروں تک جاتا اور سورج ابھی تیز ہوتا۔ راوی کہتے ہیں: مغرب کے بارے میں جو فرمایا وہ مجھے بھول گیا۔ اور عشاء میں تاخیر کرنا آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو محبوب تھا — (راوی نے کہا:) آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم اسے پسند فرماتے تھے۔ اور فجر ایسے وقت پڑھتے کہ نماز سے فارغ ہونے کے بعد ایک شخص اپنے پہلو میں بیٹھے ہوئے ساتھی کو پہچان لیتا، اور اس میں ساٹھ سے سو تک آیتیں تلاوت فرماتے تھے۔
