حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ كُلَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ قَالَ خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي جَنَازَةٍ فَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُوَ عَلَى الْقَبْرِ يُوصِي الْحَافِرَ " أَوْسِعْ مِنْ قِبَلِ رِجْلَيْهِ أَوْسِعْ مِنْ قِبَلِ رَأْسِهِ " . فَلَمَّا رَجَعَ اسْتَقْبَلَهُ دَاعِيَ امْرَأَةٍ فَجَاءَ وَجِيءَ بِالطَّعَامِ فَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ ثُمَّ وَضَعَ الْقَوْمُ فَأَكَلُوا فَنَظَرَ آبَاؤُنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَلُوكُ لُقْمَةً فِي فَمِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ " أَجِدُ لَحْمَ شَاةٍ أُخِذَتْ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِ أَهْلِهَا " . فَأَرْسَلَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ قَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي أَرْسَلْتُ إِلَى الْبَقِيعِ يَشْتَرِي لِي شَاةً فَلَمْ أَجِدْ فَأَرْسَلْتُ إِلَى جَارٍ لِي قَدِ اشْتَرَى شَاةً أَنْ أَرْسِلْ إِلَىَّ بِهَا بِثَمَنِهَا فَلَمْ يُوجَدْ فَأَرْسَلْتُ إِلَى امْرَأَتِهِ فَأَرْسَلَتْ إِلَىَّ بِهَا . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَطْعِمِيهِ الأَسَارَى " .
انگریزی ترجمہ
A man of the Ansar (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: We went out with the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) for a funeral. I saw the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) at the grave giving instructions to the grave-digger: Make it wider on the side of the feet, make it wider on the side of the head. When he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) returned, a man met him with an invitation from a woman. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) graced the gathering and food was brought. He placed his blessed hand first, then the people placed their hands and ate. Our elders observed that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was turning a morsel around in his blessed mouth. Then he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: I detect the flesh of a sheep taken without the permission of its owner. The woman sent word saying: O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), I sent someone to al-Baqi' to buy a sheep but none could be found. Then I sent word to my neighbor who had bought a sheep, asking him to send it to me at the same price, but he was not found. So I sent word to his wife and she sent it to me. The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: Feed this food to the prisoners.
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت ایک انصاری صحابی رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں: ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ساتھ ایک جنازے میں نکلے، میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو دیکھا کہ آپ قبر کے پاس قبر کھودنے والے کو ہدایت فرما رہے تھے: پاؤں کی طرف سے کشادہ کرو، سر کی طرف سے کشادہ کرو۔ جب آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم واپس تشریف لائے تو ایک عورت کی طرف سے دعوت لے کر آنے والا سامنے آیا، آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم تشریف لے گئے اور کھانا لایا گیا، آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ہاتھ رکھا پھر لوگوں نے رکھا اور سب نے کھانا شروع کیا۔ ہمارے بزرگوں نے دیکھا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ایک لقمہ منہ میں گھما رہے ہیں پھر آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: مجھے اس بکری کے گوشت کا احساس ہو رہا ہے جو اس کے مالک کی اجازت کے بغیر لی گئی ہے۔ عورت نے کہلا بھیجا: یا رسول اللہ! میں نے بقیع بھیجا تھا بکری خریدنے کو مگر نہیں ملی، پھر اپنے پڑوسی کو کہلایا جس نے بکری خریدی تھی کہ وہ اتنی ہی قیمت پر مجھے دے دے، مگر وہ نہیں ملا، تو میں نے اس کی بیوی کو پیغام بھیجا اور اس نے بھیج دی۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: یہ کھانا قیدیوں کو کھلا دو۔
