حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ الْوَاشِحِيُّ، وَمُسَدَّدٌ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا اغْتَسَلَ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ - قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ يَبْدَأُ فَيُفْرِغُ مِنْ يَمِينِهِ عَلَى شِمَالِهِ . وَقَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ غَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ يَصُبُّ الإِنَاءَ عَلَى يَدِهِ الْيُمْنَى ثُمَّ اتَّفَقَا فَيَغْسِلُ فَرْجَهُ . - قَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ - يُفْرِغُ عَلَى شِمَالِهِ وَرُبَّمَا كَنَتْ عَنِ الْفَرْجِ ثُمَّ يَتَوَضَّأُ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلاَةِ ثُمَّ يُدْخِلُ يَدَيْهِ فِي الإِنَاءِ فَيُخَلِّلُ شَعْرَهُ حَتَّى إِذَا رَأَى أَنَّهُ قَدْ أَصَابَ الْبَشَرَةَ أَوْ أَنْقَى الْبَشَرَةَ أَفْرَغَ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ ثَلاَثًا فَإِذَا فَضَلَ فَضْلَةٌ صَبَّهَا عَلَيْهِ .
انگریزی ترجمہ
Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat Aisha Siddiqah (may Allah be well pleased with her) narrates: When the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) performed the bath of janabah — according to Sulayman's version: he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would begin by pouring water from his right hand onto his left; and according to Musaddad's version: he would tilt the vessel onto his right hand and wash both hands — then both versions agree that he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would wash his private parts — Musaddad's version adds: he would pour water on his left hand (and sometimes Hadrat Aisha, may Allah be well pleased with her, used an indirect expression for the private part) — then he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would perform ablution as for prayer, then insert his blessed hands into the vessel and run them through his hair, until he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was satisfied that water had reached the skin or that the skin was clean; he would then pour water over his blessed head three times, and whatever water remained, he would pour it over himself.
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا فرماتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم جب غسلِ جنابت فرماتے — سلیمان کی روایت میں ہے: پہلے اپنے دائیں ہاتھ سے بائیں ہاتھ پر پانی ڈالتے، اور مسدد کی روایت میں ہے: برتن کو دائیں ہاتھ پر جھکا کر دونوں ہاتھ دھوتے — پھر دونوں روایتیں اس بات پر متفق ہیں کہ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم اپنی شرمگاہ دھوتے — مسدد کی روایت میں ہے: بائیں ہاتھ پر پانی بہاتے (اور کبھی حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے شرمگاہ کو کنایے سے بیان فرمایا) — پھر نماز کے وضو کی طرح وضو فرماتے، پھر دونوں ہاتھ مبارک برتن میں ڈال کر بالوں کا خلال فرماتے، یہاں تک کہ جب جان لیتے کہ پانی کھال تک پہنچ گیا ہے یا کھال صاف ہو گئی ہے تو سرِ مبارک پر تین بار پانی بہاتے، پھر جو پانی بچ جاتا اسے (بدن مبارک پر) بہا لیتے۔
