حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الأَنْبَارِيُّ، - الْمَعْنَى - قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَخْرَةَ، جَامِعِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ، قَالَ ضِفْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ فَأَمَرَ بِجَنْبٍ فَشُوِيَ وَأَخَذَ الشَّفْرَةَ فَجَعَلَ يَحُزُّ لِي بِهَا مِنْهُ - قَالَ - فَجَاءَ بِلاَلٌ فَآذَنَهُ بِالصَّلاَةِ - قَالَ - فَأَلْقَى الشَّفْرَةَ وَقَالَ " مَا لَهُ تَرِبَتْ يَدَاهُ " . وَقَامَ يُصَلِّي . زَادَ الأَنْبَارِيُّ وَكَانَ شَارِبِي وَفَى فَقَصَّهُ لِي عَلَى سِوَاكٍ . أَوْ قَالَ أَقُصُّهُ لَكَ عَلَى سِوَاكٍ .
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Mughirah ibn Shu'bah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates: One night I was a guest of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) ordered a goat's leg to be roasted, and it was roasted. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) took a knife and began cutting meat from it for me. In the meanwhile, Hadrat Bilal (may Allah be well pleased with him) came and informed him (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) about the prayer. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) put down the knife and said: 'What happened to him! May his hands be covered with dust!' He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) then stood up and offered the prayer. Al-Anbari's version adds: 'My moustache had grown long, so he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) trimmed it by placing a tooth-stick underneath' — or he said: 'I shall trim your moustache by placing a tooth-stick underneath.'
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت مغیرہ بن شعبہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک رات میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کا مہمان ہوا تو آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے بکری کی ران بھوننے کا حکم فرمایا، وہ بھونی گئی۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے چھری لی اور میرے لیے اس میں سے گوشت کاٹنے لگے۔ اتنے میں حضرت بلال رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ آئے اور آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو نماز کی اطلاع دی۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے چھری رکھ دی اور ارشاد فرمایا: اسے کیا ہو گیا؟ اس کے دونوں ہاتھ خاک آلود ہوں! اور اٹھ کر نماز پڑھنے کھڑے ہو گئے۔ انباری کی روایت میں اتنا اضافہ ہے: میری مونچھیں بڑھ گئی تھیں تو آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے مسواک رکھ کر ان کو کتر دیا — یا فرمایا: میں مسواک رکھ کر تمہاری مونچھیں کتر دوں گا۔
