حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو هَانِئٍ، حُمَيْدُ بْنُ هَانِئٍ أَنَّ أَبَا عَلِيٍّ، عَمْرَو بْنَ مَالِكٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ، سَمِعَ فَضَالَةَ بْنَ عُبَيْدٍ، صَاحِبَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ سَمِعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَجُلاً يَدْعُو فِي صَلاَتِهِ لَمْ يُمَجِّدِ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى وَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " عَجِلَ هَذَا " . ثُمَّ دَعَاهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ أَوْ لِغَيْرِهِ " إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَبْدَأْ بِتَحْمِيدِ رَبِّهِ جَلَّ وَعَزَّ وَالثَّنَاءِ عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ثُمَّ يَدْعُو بَعْدُ بِمَا شَاءَ " .
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Fadalah ibn 'Ubayd (may Allah be well pleased with him), a Companion of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), narrates: 'The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) heard a man supplicating in his prayer without glorifying Allah, the Exalted, and without sending blessings upon the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "This one has been hasty." Then he called him and said to him — or to another: "When one of you prays, let him begin with the praise and glorification of his Lord, the Mighty and Majestic, then send blessings upon the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), and then supplicate for whatever he wishes."'
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت فضالہ بن عبید رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ — صحابیِ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم — فرماتے ہیں: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ایک شخص کو سنا جو اپنی نماز میں دعا کر رہا تھا — نہ اس نے اللہ تعالیٰ کی تعریف کی اور نہ نبی صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم پر درود بھیجا — رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اس نے جلدی کی — پھر اسے بلایا اور اسے — یا کسی اور کو — فرمایا: جب تم میں سے کوئی نماز پڑھے تو اپنے رب جل وعز کی حمد و ثنا سے شروع کرے — پھر نبی صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم پر درود بھیجے — پھر جو چاہے مانگے۔
