حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، وَيُونُسُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ أَصَابَ أَهْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ قَحْطٌ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَبَيْنَمَا هُوَ يَخْطُبُنَا يَوْمَ جُمُعَةٍ إِذْ قَامَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَلَكَ الْكُرَاعُ هَلَكَ الشَّاءُ فَادْعُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يَسْقِيَنَا فَمَدَّ يَدَيْهِ وَدَعَا قَالَ أَنَسٌ وَإِنَّ السَّمَاءَ لَمِثْلُ الزُّجَاجَةِ فَهَاجَتْ رِيحٌ ثُمَّ أَنْشَأَتْ سَحَابَةً ثُمَّ اجْتَمَعَتْ ثُمَّ أَرْسَلَتِ السَّمَاءُ عَزَالِيَهَا فَخَرَجْنَا نَخُوضُ الْمَاءَ حَتَّى أَتَيْنَا مَنَازِلَنَا فَلَمْ يَزَلِ الْمَطَرُ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ الأُخْرَى فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ ذَلِكَ الرَّجُلُ أَوْ غَيْرُهُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ تَهَدَّمَتِ الْبُيُوتُ فَادْعُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يَحْبِسَهُ فَتَبَسَّمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ثُمَّ قَالَ " حَوَالَيْنَا وَلاَ عَلَيْنَا " . فَنَظَرْتُ إِلَى السَّحَابِ يَتَصَدَّعُ حَوْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ كَأَنَّهُ إِكْلِيلٌ .
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates: In the time of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), a drought afflicted the people of Madinah. While the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was delivering the Friday sermon, a man stood and submitted: 'O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), the horses are perishing, the sheep are perishing — pray to Allah to grant us rain.' He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) spread his hands and supplicated. Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: The sky was clear as glass. Then the wind blew, then clouds gathered, then they joined together, then the sky opened its floodgates. We walked through water to reach our homes. The rain continued until the following Friday. Then the same man — or another — stood and submitted: 'O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), houses are collapsing — pray to Allah to stop the rain.' The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) smiled and declared: 'Around us and not upon us.' I saw the clouds dispersing from around Madinah as if forming a crown.
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے زمانے میں اہلِ مدینہ پر قحط پڑا — آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم جمعے کے دن خطبہ ارشاد فرما رہے تھے کہ ایک شخص کھڑا ہوا اور عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! گھوڑے ہلاک ہو رہے ہیں، بکریاں ہلاک ہو رہی ہیں — اللہ سے دعا فرمائیں کہ بارش عطا فرمائے — آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ہاتھ پھیلائے اور دعا فرمائی۔ حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں: آسمان شیشے کی طرح صاف تھا — پھر ہوا چلی — پھر بادل اٹھا — پھر بادل جمع ہوئے — پھر آسمان نے اپنے مُنھ کھول دیے (خوب بارش ہوئی) — ہم پانی میں چلتے ہوئے اپنے گھروں کو پہنچے — بارش اگلے جمعے تک جاری رہی — پھر وہی شخص یا کوئی اور کھڑا ہوا اور عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! مکانات گر گئے — اللہ سے دعا فرمائیں کہ بارش روک دے — رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم مسکرائے اور ارشاد فرمایا: حَوَالَیْنَا وَلَا عَلَیْنَا (ہمارے ارد گرد برسے ہم پر نہیں)۔ میں نے دیکھا کہ بادل مدینے کے گرد پھٹتے جا رہے تھے گویا تاج (اکلیل) ہو۔
