حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا هِقْلُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْأَشْهَلِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا صَلَّى عَلَى الْجَنَازَةِ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِحَيِّنَا وَمَيِّتِنَا وَشَاهِدِنَا وَغَائِبِنَا وَصَغِيرِنَا وَكَبِيرِنَا وَذَكَرِنَا وَأُنْثَانَا قَالَ يَحْيَى وَحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ وَزَادَ فِيهِ اللَّهُمَّ مَنْ أَحْيَيْتَهُ مِنَّا فَأَحْيِهِ عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ وَمَنْ تَوَفَّيْتَهُ مِنَّا فَتَوَفَّهُ عَلَى الْإِيمَانِ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَعَائِشَةَ وَأَبِي قَتَادَةَ وَعَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ وَجَابِرٍ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ وَالِدِ أَبِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَرَوَى هِشَامٌ الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُرْسَلًا وَرَوَى عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَحَدِيثُ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ غَيْرُ مَحْفُوظٍ وَعِكْرِمَةُ رُبَّمَا يَهِمُ فِي حَدِيثِ يَحْيَى وَرُوِي عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ و سَمِعْت مُحَمَّدًا يَقُولُ أَصَحُّ الرِّوَايَاتِ فِي هَذَا حَدِيثُ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْأَشْهَلِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ اسْمِ أَبِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ فَلَمْ يَعْرِفْهُ.
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Ibrahim Al-Ashhali narrated from his father that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) when he would pray the funeral prayer, he would say: 'O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, those of us who are present and those who are absent, our young and our old, our males and our females.' Yahya said: And Abu Salamah bin Abdur-Rahman narrated from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) something similar, and he added: 'O Allah, whomever among us You give life, let him live upon Islam; and whomever among us You take in death, let him die upon faith.' In this chapter there are also narrations from Hadrat Abdur-Rahman, Hadrat Aishah, Hadrat Abu Qatadah, Hadrat Awf bin Malik, and Hadrat Jabir (may Allah be well pleased with them all). Abu Isa said: The hadith of the father of Abu Ibrahim is Hasan Sahih. Hisham Ad-Dastawai and Hadrat Ali bin Al-Mubarak narrated this hadith from Yahya bin Abi Kathir from Abu Salamah bin Abdur-Rahman from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) in Mursal form. Ikrimah bin Ammar narrated it from Yahya bin Abi Kathir from Abu Salamah from Hadrat Aishah (may Allah be well pleased with her) from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), but the hadith of Ikrimah bin Ammar is not preserved (Ghair Mahfuz), and Ikrimah sometimes errs in the hadith of Yahya. It is also narrated from Yahya bin Abi Kathir from Abdullah bin Abi Qatadah from his father from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). I heard Muhammad (Al-Bukhari) say: The most correct of the narrations on this is the hadith of Yahya bin Abi Kathir from Abu Ibrahim Al-Ashhali from his father. And I asked him about the name of Abu Ibrahim but he did not know it.
Urdu Translation
حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما فرماتی ہیں کہ مجھے حیض آ گیا چنانچہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے مجھے طواف کے علاوہ سبھی مناسک ادا کرنے کا حکم دیا ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی فرماتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث اس طریق کے علاوہ سے بھی حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ سے مروی ہے۔ ۲- اہل علم کا اسی حدیث پر عمل ہے کہ حائضہ خانہ کعبہ کے طواف کے علاوہ سبھی مناسک ادا کرے گی۔
