Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ قَزَعَةَ، - بَصْرِيٌّ - حَدَّثَنَا مَسْلَمَةُ بْنُ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ الشَّعْبِيِّ، فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ : ( ما كَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ أَبَا أَحَدٍ مِنْ رِجَالِكُمْ ) قَالَ مَا كَانَ لِيَعِيشَ لَهُ فِيكُمْ وَلَدٌ ذَكَرٌ .
English Translation
It is narrated by Hadrat Dawud (upon him be peace) bin Abi Hind that from Ash-Sha'bi regarding the saying of Allah [the Mighty and Sublime]: 'Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) is not the father of any one of your men (33:40)' he said: "No male children of his would live among them
Urdu Translation
عامر شعبی اللہ کے اس قول «ما كان محمد أبا أحد من رجالكم» ” ( لوگو! ) تمہارے مردوں میں سے کسی کے باپ محمد ( صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ) نہیں“ ( الاحزاب: ۴۰ ) ، کے بارے میں کہتے ہیں: اس سے مراد زندہ نہ رہنے والی نرینہ اولاد ہے ۱؎۔
