Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:10381 حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي يَحْيَى الْحَضْرَمِيُّ الْمِصْرِيُّ أَخْبَرَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَهْلِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ثنا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ وَشُعْبَةُ عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ عَنْ مُرَّةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَسْفِرُوا بِصَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ؛ فَإِنَّهُ أَعْظَمُ لِلْأَجْرِ»
English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Truthfulness leads to righteousness and righteousness leads to Paradise. A man continues to be truthful until he is recorded as a truthful person. And lying leads to wickedness and wickedness leads to the Fire. A man continues to lie until he is recorded as a liar."
