Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:10283 حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ نُصَيْرٍ ثنا هِشَامٌ الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فاحْتَبَسْنَا عَنْ صَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ فَاشْتَدَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْنَا فَقُلْنَا نَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَفِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِلَالًا فَأَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ فَصَلَّيْنَا مَعَ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ أَقَامَ فَقَالَ «مَا عَلَى الْأَرْضِ عِصَابَةٌ يَذْكُرُونَ اللهَ غَيْرَكَمْ»
English Translation
'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud said: We were with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and were delayed from the Dhuhr, 'Asr, Maghrib, and 'Isha prayers. This was very difficult for us. We said: "We are with the Messenger of Allah and in the way of Allah." The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) commanded Bilal, and he called the iqamah. We prayed each prayer as he called the iqamah. He said: "There is no group on earth that remembers Allah other than you."
