Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:10269 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ أنا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ لَقَدْ قُلِّلُوا فِي أَعْيُنِنَا يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ حَتَّى قُلْتُ لِصَاحِبِي الَّذِي إِلَى جَانِبِي كَمْ تُرَاهُمْ؟ أَتُرَاهُمْ سَبْعِينَ؟ قَالَ أُرَاهُمْ مِائَةً حَتَّى أَخَذْنَا مِنْهُمْ رَجُلًا فَسَأَلْنَاهُ فَقَالَ كُنَّا أَلْفًا
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Do not enter upon these women (in seclusion)." A man from the Ansar said: "What about the brother-in-law (of the husband)?" He said: "The brother-in-law is death."
