Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9951 حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ ذَهَبَ لِحَاجَتِهِ فَأَمَرَ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ أَنْ يَأْتِيَهُ بِثَلَاثَةِ أَحْجَارٍ فَجَاءَ بِحَجَرَيْنِ وَرَوْثَةٍ فَأَلْقَى الرَّوْثَةَ وَقَالَ «هَذِهِ رِكْسٌ ائْتِنِي بِحَجَرٍ»
English Translation
Ibn Mas'ud reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) went to relieve himself and ordered Ibn Mas'ud to bring him three stones. He came with two stones and a piece of dung. He threw away the dung and said: 'This is filth. Bring me a stone.'
