Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9781 حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ثنا مِسْعَرٌ حَدَّثَنِي مَعْنٌ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «كُنْتُ عَلَيْهِمْ شَهِيدًا مَا دُمْتُ فِيهِمْ»
English Translation
Al-Husayn ibn Ishaq al-Tustari narrated to us, from Uthman ibn Abi Shaybah, from Abu Usamah, from Mis'ar, from Ma'n, from Ja'far ibn Amr ibn Hurayth, from his father, from Ibn Mas'ud who said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: '{I was a witness over them as long as I remained among them} [5:117].'
