English Translation
Ishaq ibn Ibrahim narrated from Abd al-Razzaq, from Isra'il, from Simak ibn Harb, from Ma'bad and Ubayd, sons of Imran ibn Dhuhl, who said: A man was brought to Ibn Mas'ud and said: 'I have committed fornication.' He said: 'Then we will stone you if you are married.' They said: 'He only had relations with his wife's slave woman.' Abdullah said: 'If you forced her, then free her and give your wife a slave woman in her place.' He said: 'By Allah, I did force her and I struck her.' So he did not stone him, but ordered him to be beaten with less than the full punishment.
