Ibrahim ibn Na'ilah al-Asbahani narrated to us, from Shayban ibn Farrukh, from Hammad ibn Salamah, from Dawud ibn Abi Hind, from al-Sha'bi, from Alqamah who said: Abdullah ibn Mas'ud said: 'I am willing to swear an oath that Surah al-Nisa' al-Qusra (the short chapter, i.e., Surah al-Talaq) was revealed after (the verse about) four months and ten days.'
