Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9614 حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَلْمٍ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ فِي قَوْلِهِ {فَطَلِّقُوهُنَّ لِعِدَّتِهِنَّ} قَالَ «مَنْ أَرَادَ الطَّلَاقَ الَّذِي هُوَ الطَّلَاقُ فَلْيُمْهِلْ حَتَّى إِذَا طَهُرَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ مِنَ الْحَيْضِ فَلْيُطَلِّقْهَا طَاهِرًا فِي غَيْرِ جِمَاعٍ»
English Translation
Abdullah said regarding 'So divorce them for their waiting period': 'Whoever wants the divorce that is the proper divorce, let him wait until the woman is purified from menstruation, then divorce her while pure and without having had intercourse.'
