Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9611 حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ {§فَطَلِّقُوهُنَّ لِعِدَّتِهِنَّ} قَالَ «طَاهِرًا مِنْ غَيْرِ جِمَاعٍ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يُطَلِّقَهَا لِلسُّنَّةِ ثَلَاثًا طَلَّقَهَا فِي طُهْرٍ وَاحِدَةً ثُمَّ عَلَيْهَا حَيْضَةٌ بَعْدَ آخِرِ تَطْلِيقَةٍ»
English Translation
Abdullah said regarding 'So divorce them for their waiting period': 'When she is pure and without having had intercourse. If he wants to divorce her according to the Sunnah with three divorces, he gives her one divorce in each state of purity, and she must observe one menstrual period after the last divorce.'
