Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9542 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا زَائِدَةُ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُهَاجِرِ الْبَجَلِيُّ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ §اسْتَقْرَأَ رَجُلٌ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَلَمْ يُكَلِّمْهُ عَبْدُ اللهِ فَلَمَّا قَضَى الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ لَهُ عَبْدُ اللهِ «الَّذِي سَأَلْتَ عَنْهُ نَصِيبُكَ مِنَ الْجُمُعَةِ»
English Translation
Ibrahim said: A man asked Abdullah ibn Mas'ud about a recitation while the imam was giving the Friday sermon. Abdullah did not speak to him. When the prayer was finished, Abdullah said to him: 'What you asked about is your share of the Friday prayer [that you missed by not listening].'
