Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:924 حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى زَحْمَوَيْهِ ثنا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا أَذَّنَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ قَالَ كَمَا يَقُولُ فَإِذَا قَالَ حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ قَالَ «لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ»
English Translation
Abu Rafi' narrated: Whenever the muezzin called the adhan, the Prophet (peace be upon him) would repeat what he said, and when the muezzin said "Hayya 'ala al-salah" (Come to prayer), he would say: "La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah" (There is no power or strength except with Allah).
