Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9264 قَالَ الثَّوْرِيُّ وَأَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدٌ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَنَّهُ «كَانَ يَقُومُ عَلَى الْبُرْدِيِّ وَيَسْجُدُ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ» فَقُلْنَا مَا الْبُرْدِيُّ؟ قَالَ «الْحَصِيرُ»
English Translation
Al-Thawri said: 'Muhammad informed me from Ibrahim that he (Ibn Mas'ud) used to stand on the burdi and prostrate on the ground.' We asked: 'What is the burdi?' He said: 'The mat (hasir).'
