Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9127 حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عُبَيْدَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ يَقُولُ كَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ §يُصَلِّي الْمَغْرِبَ حِينَ تَغْرُبُ حَاجِبُ الشَّمْسِ ثُمَّ يَحْلِفُ أَنَّهُ الْوَقْتُ الَّذِي قَالَ اللهُ ﷻ {أَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ لِدُلُوكِ الشَّمْسِ}
English Translation
Abdullah ibn Mas'ud used to pray Maghrib when the edge of the sun set, then he would swear that it was the time about which Allah the Almighty said: 'Establish prayer at the decline of the sun.'
