Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9103 [Machine] In his saying "{زِدْنَاهُمْ عَذَابًا فَوْقَ الْعَذَابِ}", he said, "Increase their punishment with the extension of their fangs, like the long palm tree." حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الصَّائِغُ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ
English Translation
Regarding the verse 'We will increase them in punishment above the punishment,' he said: 'Scorpions whose fangs are like tall palm trees.' [Narrated from Abdullah ibn Mas'ud through al-A'mash from Ibrahim from Alqamah].
