Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9019 حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ثنا الْفِرْيَابِيُّ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ {هَلْ يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَّا أَنْ تَأْتِيَهُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ أَوْ يَأْتِيَ رَبُّكَ أَوْ يَأْتِيَ بَعْضُ آيَاتِ رَبِّكَ يَوْمَ يَأْتِي بَعْضُ آيَاتِ رَبِّكَ لَا يَنْفَعُ نَفْسًا إِيمَانُهَا لَمْ تَكُنْ آمَنَتْ مِنْ قَبْلُ} قَالَ «طُلُوعُ الشَّمْسِ مَعَ الْقَمَرِ مِنْ مَغْرِبِهَا كَالْبَعِيرَيْنِ الْقَرِينَيْنِ»
English Translation
Abdullah ibn Mas'ud said regarding the verse 'Do they await except that the angels should come to them, or your Lord should come, or some of the signs of your Lord should come? The Day some of the signs of your Lord come, faith will not benefit a soul that had not believed before': "The rising of the sun together with the moon from the west, like two camels yoked together."
