Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:8850 حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ «إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيُحَدِّثُ بِالْحَدِيثِ فَيَسْمَعُهُ مَنْ لَا يَبْلُغُ عَقْلُهُ فَهْمَ ذَلِكَ الْحَدِيثِ فَيَكُونُ عَلَيْهِ فِتْنَةً»
English Translation
Ibn Mas'ud said: 'A man may narrate a hadith and someone hears it whose intellect is not sufficient to understand that hadith, and it becomes a trial for him.'
