Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:8772 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا زَائِدَةُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ خَيْثَمَةَ قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ «وَالَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُهُ لَا يُحْسِنُ عَبْدُ اللهِ الظَّنَّ إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ ظَنَّهُ وَذَلِكَ بَانَ الْخَيْرُ فِي يَدِهِ»
English Translation
'Abdullah said: "By the One besides Whom there is no god, no servant thinks well of Allah except that Allah gives him what he hopes for. That is because all goodness is in His Hand."
