Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:8604 حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ثنا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْأَقْمَرِ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ «§مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَلْقَى اللهَ غَدًا مُسْلِمًا فَلْيُحَافِظْ عَلَى هَؤُلَاءِ الصَّلَوَاتِ حَيْثُ يُنَادَى بِهِنَّ فَإِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ قَدْ شَرَعَ لِنَبِيِّكُمْ ﷺ سُنَنَ الْهُدَى وَإِنَّهُنَّ مِنْ سُنَنِ الْهُدَى وَإِنِّي لَأَحْسِبُ مَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا وَلَهُ مَسْجِدٌ يُصَلِّي فِيهِ وَلَوْ تَرَكْتُمْ سُنَّةَ نَبِيِّكُمْ ﷺ لَضَلَلْتُمْ وَمَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ مُسْلِمٍ يَتَوَضَّأُ فَيُحْسِنُ الْوُضُوءَ ثُمَّ يَمْضِي إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ إِلَّا كَتَبَ اللهُ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ حَسَنَةٍ وَرَفَعَهُ بِهَا دَرَجَةٌ وَحَطَّ عَنْهَا بِهَا خَطِيئَةٌ»
English Translation
'Abdullah said: "Whoever would be pleased to meet Allah tomorrow as a Muslim, let him maintain these prayers where the call is made for them. Allah Most High has prescribed for your Prophet (peace be upon him) the ways of guidance, and they are from the ways of guidance. I believe there is not a single one of you who does not have a place of prayer in his house. If you prayed in your houses and abandoned your mosques, you would have abandoned the practice of your Prophet."
