Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:8587 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ إِنَّ §مِنْ أَكْبَرِ الذَّنْبِ أَنْ يَقُولَ الرَّجُلُ لِأَخِيهِ اتَّقِ اللهَ فَيَقُولُ عَلَيْكَ نَفْسَكَ أَنْتَ تَأْمُرُنِي
English Translation
'Abdullah said: "Indeed, among the greatest of sins is when a man says to his brother: 'Fear Allah,' and the other replies: 'Mind your own self! You are commanding me?!'"
