Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:8431 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ بَهْرَامَ ثنا سُعَيْرُ بْنُ الْخِمْسِ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ «مَا مِنْ كِتَابِ اللهِ آيَةٌ إِلَّا أَعْلَمُ حَيْثُ نَزَلَتْ وفِيمَنْ أُنْزِلَتْ وَلَوْ أَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا أَعْلَمُ بِكِتَابِ اللهِ مِنِّي تَبْلُغُهُ الْإِبِلُ لَرَحَلْتُ إِلَيْهِ»
English Translation
'Abdullah said: "There is no verse in the Book of Allah except that I know where it was revealed and about whom it was revealed. If I knew of anyone more knowledgeable about the Book of Allah than me, whom camels could reach, I would travel to him."
