Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:8339 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَوْهَبٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُوسَى بْنَ طَلْحَةَ يَذْكُرُ أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ أَبِي الْعَاصِ أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَا عُثْمَانُ أُمَّ قَوْمَكَ مَنْ أَمَّ قَوْمًا فَلْيُخَفِّفْ فَإِنَّ فِيهِمُ الضَّعِيفَ وَإِنَّ فِيهِمُ الْمَرِيضَ وَإِنَّ فِيهِمْ ذَا الْحَاجَةِ»
English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'O Uthman, lead your people in prayer. Whoever leads a people should make the prayer light, for among them are the weak, the sick, and those with needs.'
