English Translation
Ya'ish ibn Tikhfa ibn Qays al-Ghifari narrated from his father, who was one of the People of the Suffah, that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) ordered, and men would take one or two men each. He remained the fifth of five, and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Come.' So they went with him to Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). He said: 'O Aisha, feed us.' She brought a hashisha (dish), and they ate. Then she brought a haysa (date-and-butter dish) the size of a sand grouse, and they ate. Then he said: 'O Aisha, give us something to drink.' She brought a small bowl of milk, and they drank. Then he said: 'If you wish, you may sleep here, and if you wish, you may go to the mosque.' They said: 'We will go to the mosque.' While I was lying on my stomach, a man nudged me with his foot and said: 'This is a sleeping posture that Allah detests.' I looked up and it was the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him).
