Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:8023 حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْحِنَّائِيُّ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الرَّاسِبِيُّ قَالَا ثنا طَالُوتُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ ثنا فَضَالُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ ثنا أَبُو أُمَامَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ثَلَاثٌ لَوْ حَلَفْتُ عَلَيْهِنَّ لَبَرَرْتُ وَالرَّابِعَةُ لَوْ حَلَفْتُ عَلَيْهَا رَجَوْتُ أَنْ لَا آثَمُ أَنْ لَا يَجْعَلَ اللهُ مَنْ لَهُ سَهْمٌ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ كَمَنْ لَا سَهْمَ لَهُ وَلَا يَتَوَلَّى عَبْدًا فِي الدُّنْيَا فَيُوَلِّيهِ غَيْرَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ وَلَا عَبْدٌ قَوْمًا إِلَّا بَعَثَهُ اللهُ مَعَهُمْ وَبَيْنَهُمْ وَالرَّابِعَةُ لَا يَسْتُرُ اللهُ عَلَى عَبْدٍ فِي الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا سَتَرَهُ يَوْمَ الْمَعَادِ
English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "There are three things; if I were to swear by them, I would be truthful, and a fourth that if I swore by it, I would hope not to sin: that Allah does not make one who has a share in Islam like one who has no share; that He does not give a servant a patron in this world and then give him to another in the Hereafter; that no servant allies himself with a people except that Allah will resurrect him among them; and the fourth: Allah does not conceal a servant's faults in this world except that He will conceal them on the Day of Return."
