Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:7790 حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحَرِيشِ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الصَّوَّافُ التُّسْتَرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ قَالَا ثنا مَيْمُونُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ لَيْثِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا طَلَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ مِنْ مَطْلِعِهَا كَهَيْأَتِهَا لِصَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ ح��ينَ تَغْرُبُ مِنْ مَغْرِبِهَا فَصَلَّى رَجُلٌ رَكْعَتَيْنِ بِأَرْبَعِ سَجَدَاتٍ كُتِبَ لَهُ أَجْرُ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ» وَحَسِبْتُهُ قَالَ «وَكَفَّرَ عَنْهُ خَطِيئَتَهُ وَإِثْمَهُ» وَأَحْسِبُهُ قَالَ «فَإِنْ مَاتَ مِنْ يَوْمِهِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ»
English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "When the sun rises from its rising place appearing like it does at the time of 'Asr prayer before it sets, if a man prays two rak'ahs with four prostrations, the reward of that day will be written for him" - and I think he said - "and his sins and wrongdoings will be expiated" - and I think he said - "If he dies on that day, he will enter Paradise."
