Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:7737 حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ الْأَنْمَاطِيُّ ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ثنا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الذِّمَارِيُّ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ أَحَبَّ لِلَّهِ وَأَبْغَضَ لِلَّهِ وَأَعْطَى لِلَّهِ وَمَنَعَ لِلَّهِ فَقَدِ اسْتَكْمَلَ الْإِيمَانَ وَإِنَّ مِنْ أَقْرَبُكُمْ إِلَيَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَحَاسِنُكُمْ أَخْلَاقًا»
English Translation
Abu Umamah reported: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, 'Whoever loves for the sake of Allah, hates for the sake of Allah, gives for the sake of Allah, and withholds for the sake of Allah has perfected his faith. And indeed the closest of you to me on the Day of Resurrection are those with the best character.'
