Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:7190 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ هُرْمُزَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الزَّجَّاجِ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِشَيْبَةَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ يَا أَبَا عُثْمَانَ إِنَّهُمْ يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ الْكَعْبَةَ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ فِيهَا فَقَالَ كَذَبُوا لَقَدْ «صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ بَيْنَ الْعَمُودَيْنِ ثُمَّ أَلْصَقَ بِهِمَا بَطْنَهُ وَظَهْرَهُ»
English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'No soul dies that has any good with Allah and would want to return to the world and have anything on earth except the martyr. He wishes to return to the world so that he may be killed again due to what he sees of the virtue of martyrdom.'
