أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلاَءِ عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ
English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever says when he retires to his bed: I seek forgiveness from Allah, there is no god but He, the Living, the Self-Sustaining, and I repent to Him — his sins will be forgiven even if they are like the foam of the sea.'
